The Birth of Love Catcher

Hello! My name is Linda. I’m a mother of three, a former nephrologist, and now the proud founder of Love Catcher, where I create commemorative jewelry. From a young age, I’ve always had a deep love for crafting—knitting, sewing, and creating all sorts of beautiful things. I vividly remember when I was in Grade 5, making sweaters for myself, my family, and friends. I also enjoyed designing dresses, hats, and bags. Crafting has always brought me immense joy.

In 2000, I graduated from Fudan University Shanghai Medical College, one of China’s most prestigious institutions, and became a nephrologist. At the time, I believed this was the career I would pursue for the rest of my life. However, with the arrival of my three children, my life took an unexpected turn.

A New Chapter in Canada

In 2018, my family and I moved to Canada, beginning an exciting new chapter in our lives. While the journey was thrilling, it also came with its own set of challenges, particularly when it came to my career. Although I was passionate about my work as a nephrologist, I had to search for a new path in this unfamiliar environment.. That’s when I stumbled across the concept of breast milk jewelry on social media, and it immediately resonated with me.

As a mother who breastfed each of her children for three years, I deeply understood the significance and emotional weight of that journey. It’s a time filled with sleepless nights, the pain of cracked nipples, and the inevitable anxiety—but it’s also a time of profound intimacy and bonding with your baby. The idea of preserving this unique experience in a piece of jewelry felt incredibly meaningful to me.

The Start of Love Catcher

Driven by this newfound passion, I created my first piece of breast milk jewelry, and from that moment, I was hooked. This passion gave birth to Love Catcher. Over time, more mothers joined my team, and together, we’ve built a brand that’s not only professional but also infused with warmth and sincerity. Today, our team is growing rapidly, and we’re dedicated to crafting jewelry that captures those precious memories.
