How Do I Get Ashes to You?
Please note that for ashes orders, we do not provide a collection kit (as we do for our breastmilk orders). So, once you place your ashes order, you will receive an order confirmation email containing our secure studio shipping address and step-by-step instructions on how to package and send the ashes directly to us. This allows you to safely secure the ashes in a manner you are most comfortable with before shipping.
How much of the ashes do you need to create a piece of jewelry?
We require only a very small amount to create your memorial keepsakeโtypically about 1/2 teaspoon to 1 teaspoon per item. In your order confirmation email, you will find specific measurement guidelines based on the exact jewelry piece you selected.
How should I package the ashes for shipping?
We highly recommend placing the required amount of ashes into a small, secure, double-sealed ziplock bag. Clearly write your name and order number on the outside of the bag with a permanent marker. Place this bag inside a sturdy bubble mailer or a small box to ensure it is fully protected during transit.
What happens to any leftover ashes after my jewelry is made?
Every single grain of your loved one's ashes is treated with dignity. Any remaining ashes that are not fully incorporated into your custom gemstone or keepsake will be carefully packaged and returned to you alongside your finished Love Catcher jewelry piece.
Which shipping carrier should I use to send the ashes?
We recommend using a shipping service that provides a tracking number, such as USPS, FedEx, or UPS. This ensures you can monitor your package's journey to our studio. For added peace of mind, many clients prefer using shipping methods that require a signature upon delivery.
How will I know that my package has arrived safely at your studio?
As soon as our team receives and checks in your package, we will send you a delivery confirmation email. This note will reassure you that your precious materials have arrived safely and that our artisans are ready to begin crafting your memorial piece.
